Lifter damaged and stuck
I have my 2012 Silverado tore down to do the delete kit. #1 lifter was the culprit. This lifter is stuck in the hole. I have all the other lifters out. Looked through one of the openings and can see the roller end is smashed. Any advice on getting it out?

Got the delete finished. The noise is gone. Still has a constant p0301 and sometimes a p0300, cyl 1 was the cylinder that collapsed

Got it out through the camshaft opening. Luckily it cylinder 1 not 7 Lol. Initial inspection I don't see or feel any gouges but will take a closer look

Lol, hate to rely on it too much but... Good luck! Best bet is to grab an engine from the yard if you can find one. Then delete it.

I know how my luck goes, so does anyone know where I can get decently priced used short block?

Ouch, you may have to pull the cam and try to push it out the camshaft side. Last one I had like that was the rollers pin had slid out and it wrecked the aluminum block. Hopefully that's not the case here.
