Good morning! Do you have any dod deletes or timing videos of you dropping the oil pan for the Gen V engine? Iu2019ve mostly only seen your video where you loosened some things in order to barely get the camshaft out. Since this will be my first job dealing with timing, I want to take the best route even if it means adding more steps to the process. Iu2019ve watched other peopleu2019s videos when searching for timing, chain replacement, oil pump replacement, etc but would like to see if you have one since you tend to be more detailed.

Unfortunately I had already bought the kit from Texas speed several months ago the ago :(.

So I got the heads off today and officially confirmed my diagnosis (after being educated by Crazed Performance University haha). Why are the lifter guides made of plastic? I thought surely someone out there would have made an upgraded guide out of metal but none found so I take it thereu2019s a reason behind the engineers designing them that way?

Next question, I think I saw on one of your videos that you make the stuck lifter tool out of pushrods. Since I am upgrading my pushrods to yours, do you want my old lifters?

Well good news is I have you covered for the full delete kit. https://www.crazedperformancerepair.com/product-page/2015-2020ish-5-3l-ultimate-full-afm-delete-kit (At the time of this post I'm out of the 6.2 camshafts as I just sold the last 2. But I do have some on the way already and they will be here before end of the week. I see you purchased the pushrod upgrade for the newer direct injection engine. So it seems you are working on the 2015 plus model?

As for your rockers, at this point it seems the newer ones do alright with the rockers. Besides that, trunnion upgrades are more useful in performance applications.
